Is it required?  All full-time employees will have the opportunity to participate in a Day of Rest.  While everyone will have the chance, no one will be required to participate. 

CFCS Denver is partnering with Sacred Heart Retreat Center in Sedalia to offer the Day of Rest. Check the Sacred Heart Retreat Centerʻs website for more information: https://www.sacredheartretreat.org.

8:45 – 9:00 AM Check in at Retreat Center
9:00 – 10:30 AM: Session 1
10:30 – 12:00 PM: Session 2
12:00 – 1:00 PM: Lunch
1:00 – 2:30 PM: Session 3
2:30 – 3:00 PM: Reflection and Check-Out

Each participant will work with a Spiritual Coordinator. The Spiritual Coordinator will help guide participants in the modules they may want to utilize during the Day of Rest.

The Spiritual Coordinator is responsible for guiding participants in preparing their daily schedules by selecting relevant modules. The Spiritual Coordinator is also responsible for encouraging reflection after the Day of Reflection. The Spiritual Coordinators are not employees of CFCS. Their work with participants will remain confidential, shared only between the participant and the Spiritual Coordinator.
