A Ministry of Care for Those Who Serve

The work of Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services places team members alongside families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. In accompanying others through grief, loss, and hope in the Resurrection, CFCS recognizes the importance of tending to the spiritual and emotional well-being of those who serve.

The Day of Rest offers full-time CFCS employees the opportunity to step away—twice per year—from daily responsibilities in order to rest, pray, and reflect in communion with God.

Participants are encouraged to disconnect from work, technology, and routine distractions, creating space for silence, spiritual reflection, and renewal. Each Day of Rest is intentionally structured yet deeply personal, allowing participants to engage in practices that best support their individual needs.

Participation is voluntary, confidential, and rooted in trust.
